Gene Field Apartments are located on the north side of St. Joseph giving quick access to Interstate I-29 & 169 (Belt) Hwy. Kansas City is only a 45 minute trip if you are wanting the big city life. St. Joseph offers many different food cuisines, entertainment, shopping centers & parks. Missouri Western State University is located here as well as technical schools. St. Joseph has many seasonal parades and festivals. These include, but are not limited to, St. Patricks Day Parade, Apple Blossom Parade, Missouri Western Homecoming Parade, & Mardi Gras. We also have in the summer Trails West Festival, which includes big named country music singers, arts and crafts & food venders, as well as attraction for children. We also have a South Side Fall Festival (free entrance) similar to the Trails West Festival.
